i'm kinda curious. why does someone who could contact you another way really easily, make a huge deal about getting your number and phoning you immediately to make sure you have theirs too, if they're not going to call you?

Me, i figure that i was always correct in my assumption that i have NO equipment for romance and no idea of the rules.

it's not fair that they get intimidated by your magnificance. but then, if they are unfit for purpose, they shouldn't be trifled with.
