For those who came in late

Pulmonary fibrosis
Pulmonary Fibrosis involves scarring of the lung. Gradually, the air sacs of the lungs become replaced by fibrotic tissue. When the scar forms, the tissue becomes thicker causing an irreversible loss of the tissue’s ability to transfer oxygen into the bloodstream.

i made that bit blue, because that's what the cyanosis does to yer fingers.

As a read through the archives of this bloggette will show, my father and I are doyennes of scar tissue (although he is the king, because mine won't kill me).

And here's the real kicker, the sentence that brings joy to all involved with PF

There are currently no effective treatments or a cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis

so to all those with the whacky non glamorous but gonna kill you anyway illnesses, I say, Sleep Well and to purloin a phrase
Do not go gently into that good night

coz i'm sure stroppy folk live longer
