sport isn't one of my areas of giftedness.
i am running the great north run, just you watch me.
it's my third half marathon and presently i'm a bit behind on the training. sadly it's not like book learning, either, you can't catch it up. the days are either there or not.
i walked to work wearing my ankle weights earlier. over 4 miles in ankle weights.
i was getting some odd looks as they're not particularly attractive being grey and red and looking like a lumpy 1980s throwback
but what i really came to write was that i've now been on the driving range 4 times and i like it.
